Rihanna Gets New Tattoo Under Breasts to Honor Grandmother Sep 10th 2012, 13:11 Rihanna has paid tribute to her late grandmother, who passed away in July after a long battle with cancer, with a mammoth tattoo under her boobs. Fresh off MTV VMA appearance, which saw her kiss Chris Brown and (maybe) call Drake an a$$hole, Rih revealed the new ink to fans on Instagram. The pop superstar wrote: "Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations - #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love" The tattoo depicts Egyptian goddess of rebirth Isis, throne-shaped headdress and all, bent down on one knee with wings unfurled under the singer's breasts. Isis, appropriately, is considered a symbol of empowered femininity. Ciara "Dolly" Brathwaite, Rihanna's grandmother, died of cancer this summer, resulting in an outpouring of support from fans and Twitter photo tributes from the star.
