LeAnn Rimes has come cleaner than ever before in a new interview with People.
The singer - whose affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian in 2009 colored her as the villain in a never-ending feud with Brandi Glanville - talked to the magazine from her home in Los Angeles recently and admitted:
"I made some really bad choices. I caused hurt."
Why is she speaking out now?
Because Rimes will release "Spitfire" out June 4 and the tracks on the album apparently document the drama that has comprised her life for the last four years.
Some lyrics even include an apology to ex-husband Dean Sheremet.
"I broke the sweetest heart of the only man that's ever loved me," she sings in "What Have I Done."
Rimes also combines non-fiction with art when crooning about being a mistress in "Borrowed" and she makes a peace offering to a woman scorned in "Just a Girl Like You."
