Lil Wayne Lawsuit Against Quincy Jones III: Dismissed! Nov 6th 2012, 12:01 Lil Wayne has lost his case against Quincy Jones III. The rapper filed suit over a documentary Jones filmed about him, calling it "scandalous" and defamatory, but that suit has been thrown out. And it gets worse. Lil Wayne Talks to God (G-O-D) Lil Wayne Suing Quincy Jones III Wayne was told to pay up in the countersuit filed by the latter; the filmmaker alleged Weezy unlawfully blocked the film's release and cost him major profits. $2,195,000 in profits, according to a jury of his peers. It did not help that LW never showed up in court for his trial; The day he was supposed to testify Weezy was a no-show in court because he had a seizure-like episode. As a result, his lawyer was left to show the jury Wayne's deposition (above) ... and in that video the unhelpful rap star treats the whole thing like a giant joke. Funny for celebrity news. Not convincing as evidence.
