As Bobbi Kristina Brown lies in a medically induced coma, her father Bobby Brown is by her bedside, asking the public to respect her privacy.
He also wants fans to join him in praying for her recovery.
The ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston released a statement Sunday, in the wake of reports that Bobbi Kristina may not recover from this:
"Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
He did not provide an update on the 21-year-old's condition, or whether the family really had Bobbi's husband Nick Gordon banned from the hospital.
Bobby Brown's legal counsel, Christopher Brown (no relation), would not elaborate on either topic either, confirming only the following information:
"The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming."
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub by her husband, Nick Gordon, at home on Saturday, and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to TMZ, the 21-year-old has been placed in a medically induced coma and her situation is being described as "significantly diminished."
Some recent reports have indicated that Bobbi has shown some positive signs of recovering, although she is far from out of the woods yet.
It's not clear what landed her in this state, as a search conducted of her home in the aftermath of the hospitalization yielded no illegal drugs.

Roswell Police (Ga.) Department spokeswoman told Us that "there were no drugs out in the open" when the authorities searched Brown's home.
"We don't leave any stone unturned, so the police took a search warrant on the home," Lisa Holland said of the police's ongoing investigation.
"Before the warrant, initially when the police went into the home there were nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened."
The incident is particularly eerie, considering that on February 11, 2012, her mother Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel bathtub.
This does not escape Bobby Brown, who is described "inconsolable" as his daughter clings to life on a ventilator after being found unresponsive.
"This is his worst nightmare: Losing Whitney was hard, but this is a million times worse ... to lose her in the same way would devastate him," a family source said.
The family is presenting a united front holding vigil for Houston and Brown's daughter, as "everyone is holding hands, praying, hoping for the best.
"Everyone knows where things are at," the source told People, adding that doctors have said that while possible, a full recovery would be a "miracle."
On Twitter, celebrities and musical stars such as Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott and M.C. Hammer all sent their well wishes to Brown and her family.
