Fredric Brandt Dies; Dermatologist to the Stars Was 65 Apr 6th 2015, 14:07, by Hilton Hater
Fredric Brandt, a dermatologist whose famous clients over the years included Madonna and Stephanie Seymour, was found dead in his Florida home yesterday.
He was 65 years old.
Few details are available at this time, although Brandy's publicist, Jacquie Tractenberg, says the doctor passed away after "suffering from an illness."
"I worked with him for over 20 years and he was an amazing man, not only was he a brilliant doctor, but he was the kindest human being," Tractenberg added.
According to various reports, however, that illness was actually depression, as Brandt was downtrodden over comparisons to a character on Tina Fey's new Netflix series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
On that comedy, Martin Shorts plays an eccentric physician with a plastic face that does closely resemble Brandt.
