Will The Vampire Diaries kill off Elena Gilbert?
This is the main question fans have on their minds as we head into The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 22 on Sunday.
We already know that Nina Dobrev is leaving the series that made her famous, and we know her beloved character was left unconscious to close last week's wedding-themed installment, but the above question remains.
Just how will Dobrev be written out?

It's important for me that it be epic and powerful," the said of her exit.
"I feel like I'm a completely different person than I was and I've grown so much. It's been a big part of my life, and I want it to be beautiful. I want it to end well."
Some believe Elena will die. Others believe Damon will compel her to forget her life in Mystic Falls and to go be happy (and safe!) elsewhere.
"I've loved working on this show. It's been such a crazy, awesome adventure, and I've been surrounded by so many people who I consider family," she told the magazine.
"I know this is a new exciting step in the right direction for me, but it's going to be so strange not to be with them."
Dobrev's issue of SELF does on sale on May 28.
