What breakup rumors? Whitney Bischoff celebrated six months of engagement to Bachelor Chris Soules with a touching Instagram photo.
Trying too hard to show everything's okay and there's no trouble in paradise?
Probably. But that doesn't mean there's any actual trouble for Chritney!
"#tbt can't believe this was almost 6 months ago..." Bischoff, 29, wrote alongside the photo of Soules bending down on one knee and proposing to her.
"Seems just like yesterday!"
Chris, who got the boot on last week's Dancing with the Stars results show, says he's excited for another season ... of farming, back home in Iowa.
Rumors that he's a fame-hungry mega-diva or staying in L.A. to pursue a career in entertainment seem unsubstantiated. Says the Pride of Arlington:
"I'm excited [to be] away from cameras... That'll be nice, scheduling things around work and not around a show and being able to build our relationship."
"Right now, we're in the middle of planting season, we should wrap up late May, and once I'm done with that ... I'll spend plenty of time in Chicago."
"It's one of my favorite cities anyway," Soules adds, noting that on top of Whitney, "my sister lives out there so plenty of excuses to go to Chicago."
"Laurie, my sister, and Whitney became really close ... actually she was just, I was talking to her on the way over here and they were hanging out."
While The Bachelorette spoilers are playing out on the Internet and Kaitlyn and Britt battle for love on TV this summer, Chris will ... not be watching.
He plans on keeping a low profile with Whitney, he says: "That'll be fun ... to really just spend the summer together and hopefully do some traveling."
And, hopefully, putting these rumors to rest.
