What makes the ladies of The Real Housewives franchise infuriating entertaining is that there is a disconnect between the cast members' lives and real life.
Their mega-millions and fickle friendships so greatly differ from the norm that millions of people watch them like they are gorillas in a zoo.
They look like us. But they aren't us.
But for the first time ever, I have something in common with one of the housewives. And I never thought it would be Bethenny Frankel ...
Both Bethenny Frankel and I think Kristen Taekman should be kicked off The Real Housewives of New York City.
Fingers crossed! It looks like our wish might come true!!
According to Radar Online, Kristen Taekman will be booted from the reality show after bumping heads with Bethenny.
A source told the New York Post, "Kristen will probably not be invited back to the show because she doesn't fit in and her storyline is stale."
The source said that Frankel is behind the scenes campaigning for Kristen to be fired. The Skinnygirl entrepreneur is so over Kristen that she "wants her off the show."
Kristen, who has been on the show for two years, is "likely departing" from RHONYC.
It isn't clear if her departure from the show is Kristen's choice or the result of Bethenny's demand. But the source claimed, Frankel "will be the nail in Kristen's coffin."
Bravo execs claim they haven't made any casting decisions as of yet.
However, it is hard to imagine Kristen surviving another season.
Her storyline is boring, and Kristen banned filming of her marital problems. Not that I want her to marital problems, but she has nothing else to offer the show.
Last week, Taekman took to - what else - her Bravo blog to address the ongoing Taekman vs. Frankel feud that continues to simmer.
The post came after Kristen confronted Bethenny about their "friendship."
She wrote, "everyone has to walk around on egg shells with" Frankel.
She added, Bethenny "has no problem being rude or talking s--t to any of the girls" on the show. Kristen's right about that particular point.
But what she doesn't realize is that Bethenny's bad attitude is the very reason why she is famous. Bethenny knows how to bring the reality TV drama.
That's why they asked her to return, Kristen. And why you are leaving.
