The ongoing divorce between Rosie O'Donnell and Michelle Rounds is costing Rosie a lot.
The estranged couple has already racked up $100 million in legal fees. And Rosie left The View, citing her divorce as the main cause.
But it's about to get even worse because Rosie reportedly tested positive for marijuana use--a drug test result that could ruin her chance of gaining custody of her daughter.
Rosie's ex-wife Michelle Rounds accused her of being an unfit mother. To prove that Rounds was wrong, Rosie willingly submitted to a drug test.
But, according to Radar Online, she failed. Ooooops.
Rosie and Michelle adopted their daughter Dakota in January 2013. Dakota, now 2, has been the centerpiece of the estranged couple's ongoing, bitter custody battle and divorce.
Rosie submitted a hair follicle to prove that she is sober. However, a report in The National Enquirer revealed that she tested positive for marijuana use.
Court documents stated that Rounds claimed Rosie partook in "excessive use of booze and weed."
An insider told the magazine that "It came back positive for drugs. When Rosie found out, she was furious!"
The source added, "She's been trying to hide her drug use for a long time, and she didn't realize that marijuana stays in your system for a number of months."
During the next court appearance, the results of the drug test will be revealed. The results could land Rosie in medical and psychological testing.
And, as the source confirmed, popping positive on the drug test "could blow up her chances of getting custody."
