As Bobbi Kristina Brown lies in a hospice facility surrounded by family and friends who are sadly awaiting the inevitable, her longtime boyfriend/adopted brother isn't even in the same state as the comatose 22-year-old.
As we reported earlier, Nick Gordon is in Florida and seems to be avoiding the Houston and Brown families for as long as he can.
He's already being sued for allegedly stealing from Krissy, and it's possible that Gordon will face murder charges after she passes away.
It's been rumored that Nick fled to Florida in order to consult with notorious attorney Jose Baez, who formerly represented Casey Anthony in her murder trial.
But as the weeks pass by and Gordon continues to cool his heels in the Sunshine State, it's becoming clear that his reasons for staying out of state go beyond his need for legal counsel.
Radar Online is reporting that Gordon has started dating Heather Posey, a 39-year-old mother of one who has reportedly served as both a shoulder to cry on and a drinking buddy for Nick in recent weeks.
Sources say they're unsure if the relationship between Gordon and Posey is sexual in nature, but the two certainly seem to be engaged in some sort of mutually-beneficial arrangement that's more than just a friendship.
Those close to the situation have speculated that Gordon is providing financial support for Posey, who recently declared bankruptcy.
In exchange, he gets to hide out at her home in Lake Mary, FL, where the two of them have reportedly been drowning the sorrows around the clock.
Gordon left rehab in April after 30 days of addiction treatment, but insiders claim he's back on the bottle (and possibly worse) and that Posey is her party partner of choice.
Both Gordon and Posey have been avoiding the media (There's even been speculation that she quit her job as a real estate agent, so that she wouldn't need to leave the house.), but try as they might to keep things on the down-low, this new relationship certainly isn't doing any favors for Nick and his badly damaged reputation.
