Did Reza's journey to Palm Springs bring him closer to Adam?
That was the primary question on Shahs of Sunset Season 5 Episode 7 set out to answer, with the couple's wedding plans in limbo.
Would they go ahead with the wedding, or would it hit a snag?
Without question, Reza's anxiety intensified - we're talking even more than usual - as unsuspecting Adam arrived in the desert of California.
Did the two of them manage to find common ground?
The episode's title "Surprise! You're Married" may as well have given it away, but it was still fun to watch Reza kick things up a notch.
Or 12 notches. He planned to wed Adam Neely without telling him about it beforehand - and this time it actually went down on camera.
When friend Asa Soltan Rahmati stood up and donned a gold turban over her head, that pretty much told Adam what was going on.
Or when she started with the words, "Dearly beloved…"
Adam, as you recall, was hurt over their canceled wedding in beautiful Thailand last season when Reza got cold feet and pulled the plug.
Though he had his reasons, and was more or less up front about that controversial decision, many fans were left scratching their heads.
No longer.
Meanwhile, GG was forced to play peacemaker - an unlikely role for such an antagonist on a regular basis - as an awkward situation arose.
