Tragedy has struck the family of Gordon Ramsay.
The Hell's Kitchen host confirmed on Facebook today that his wife, Tana, recently suffered a miscarriage.
Sadly, she was five months along into her pregnancy when it happened.
"Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks," the celebrity captioned a photo with his wife.

"We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months," he continued. "We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. "
"I'd especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they've done."
The Ramsays, who got married in 1996, announced that they were expecting their fifth child in April, 14 years after the birth of their youngest child.
Ramsay made the announcement while a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
"I'm really nervous," he said at the time. "Obviously, I'm happy with another girl. Four girls. Four weddings. Four Sweet 16s. Four boyfriends."
The couple is the parents of Megan, 18, twins Jack and Holly, 16, and Matilda, 14.
