She rose to fame after completely winning over fans and judges alike on season six of The Voice, so the show would like to pay tribute to Christina Grimmie the best way they know how.
Grimmie was gunned down by a fan while signing autographs at an Orlando, FL concert on June 10th.
Tributes from fans and celebrities alike have been pouring in since the murder, and Grimmie's former coach, Adam Levine has even offered to pay for her funeral.
"Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie's death. Our hearts go out to her family," the Maroon 5 front man tweeted not long after learning the news.
Grimmie made such an impact on The Voice that everyone who is part of the show wants to do something impactful that will allow her legacy to live on.
"Next season they want to honor her and help out her family and are mulling over ideas on what they would like to do in that regard," a source told Hollywood Life.
"Whether they set up a charity in her honor, make a donation in her name or something else, they want to work close with the family to do something.
"It is easily way to [sic] early for specifics, but they want to honor her in some way and fashion."
Last night, Grimmie's older brother, Marcus led a vigil in their hometown of Marlton, New Jersey. Marcus is being hailed a hero for tackling the suspect after he fired shots at the singer.
"The tragedy that took place was at a free meet-and-greet post-show," Marcus told the crowns.
"I missed the first glimpse, but witnesses say she was arms open wide [to the shooter]. She had no idea and she treated everybody the same."
Grimmie was 22 years old.
