Wait... what the heck just happened?!?
On The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 24, Sheldon and Amy were totally getting to first base when the latter decided to use his tongue for a different purpose.
He pulled it out of his girlfriend's mouth and started to talk about The Flash... which we do sort of understand because The Flash Season 1 has been awesome.
But Amy was sick of Sheldon making her feel less important than pop culture and decided to break things off via video chat.
This would have been startling enough on its own, even if the following scene didn't take place:
Sheldon then turned to his Gollum figurine, pulled out a ring box and asked: Gollum, you're an expert on rings. What do I do with this one?
Yes, Sheldon was about to propose!!!
As for the sitcom's other couples… Penny and Leonard shared a few moments of wondering whether or they would still get married, considering they have yet to set a date and that Leonard kissed a girl on his trip.
By the end of the finale, they were off to Last Vegas. Though they didn't look like a couple excited to get hitched.
Elsewhere, Raj wanted to split from Emily after she wanted to have intercourse in a cemetery.
Instead, though, he confessed his love to her, while Howard and Bernadette wanted to kick Stuart out of the house yet ended up just making him a cupcake.
That's a lot to process.
