Ingrid Nilsen Comes Out as Gay: Watch the Video! Jun 10th 2015, 10:07, by Hilton Hater Ingrid Nilsen has come out as gay. The YouTube star and Project Runway Threads Judge judge opened up to followers in an emotional video yesterday, breaking down in tears soon after her admission and telling the world: “It feels so good to say that.” But Nilsen does more than just say she’s a lesbian. For nearly 20 minutes in front of the camera, she talks about growing up in a not-very-accepting household, while also going into detail about her romantic relationships with men. Nilsen explains that she has told "friends and people who are close" to her, but this was her final step towards coming totally out of the closet. She titled the video, "Something I Want You to Know" and sadly says that, for many years, "I didn't think I deserved to be happy."
