Now that Josh Duggar is in rehab seeking treatment for his "addictions" to porn, prostitutes and strippers, his long-suffering wife, Anna Duggar, finally has some space in which to figure out her next move.
Whether she makes any real move at all is an open question, however.
Insiders say Anna is miserable and rightfully feels betrayed.
Unfortunately, they also say Anna will never divorce Josh, due to their strong religious convictions and associated views on marriage and gender roles.
That's not surprising to anyone who has followed the Duggars, but what may come as a shock is that her upbringing was just as strict as Josh's.
Even more religious and patriarchal than his, some say.
A source tells People of the Kellers, "Anna and her siblings were always taught that if you follow these 10 steps or whatever, God would bless you."
"Her parents are even a little more extreme."
Insiders say Anna was taught from a young age that a woman's role is to her husband's commands and be exactly the type of wife he desires.
As such, the former Anna Keller has reportedly (and creepily) taken on many of the qualities of Josh's mother, Michelle Duggar.
"Ever since she met [the Duggars] she has acted more like Michelle," says one insider. "She talks like her, real soft. She, like, whispers."
The sources say Anna still turns to her parents for advice, but they're just as uncertain as she is with regard to her next step now.
The Kellers are vehemently opposed to divorce, but (as evidenced by recent comments from Anna's brother) they find Josh's behavior reprehensible.
"I don't think her parents ever thought they would ever come to a situation like this," says one source. "They just don't know what to do."
"They always taught their kids that divorce was never an option. They never even thought about cheating. But that's not how life works."
It seems, however, that Anna's siblings are far more liberal than her parents, as two of them have vocally encouraged her to peace out.
Susanna Keller has encouraged Anna to leave Josh, and another sister, Rebecca, is currently going through a divorce of her own.
Divorces are almost unheard of in the Duggars' world ... but then again, so are some of the things Josh was doing. Literally in this case:
