Burnell Taylor was eliminated from American Idol last night.
But the finalist wasn't shocked by the ousting, he told reporters soon after Ryan Seacrest delivered the news.
"This whole week, it was basically God giving me a sign so that I could be prepared," said Taylor, who has been romantically linked to fellow contestant Amber Holcomb.
As for the future? Look out, music world!
"I want to do so much. I say by the time I'm 25 I better have at least six Grammys," Burnell said of his career goals. "I would love to work with Frank Ocean, Brandy, India.Arie, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars... anybody that's looking for a brother, because I'm coming home."
Is Taylor bitter over the results? With Lazaro Arbos sticking around, despite flubbing his lyrics this week? Nope, he has a very positive outlook:
