A massive recall on frozen pizza and other snacks is underway.
Farm Rich-branded products including pizza, Mini Quesadillas, Mini Pizza Slices, Philly Cheese Steaks, and Mozzarella Bites, are being pulled from shelves.
Over 10.5 million pounds of frozen foods have been recalled.
The reason why? Contamination, though it's not clear from what.
Reps from the company believe that the frozen pizza and other food may be contaminated with E. coli O121, known as Escherichia coli O121 bacteria.
Rich Products voluntarily recalled all products produced at its Waycross, Ga. plant with "Best By" dates of January 1, 2013 to September 29, 2014.
Rich Products has not been able to identify the source of the contamination, but its CEO said "we decided to act proactively to expand the recall."
