The last time Miley Cyrus appeared on Ellen, the host threw her a bachelorette party.
So when the singer stopped by to tape an interview with this comedian yesterday, following her split with Liam Hemsworth, Ellen had one simple request: Give me my money back!
She was just kidding, but Cyrus did address the end of her engagement to the actor for the first time in public.
"I think people spend more time actually thinking about it then I really do," Miley said. "I just believe when a chapter is done you have to close it and start that new one. That's kind of where I am right now. I felt like I have so much to be thankful for at this time that my energy hasn't really been focused on that."
That's certainly accurate.
Along with the release of her album and her multiple live performances these days, Miley must decide: Should I direct a porn for $1 million?!?
But, in all seriousness, the 20-year old said she's grateful that folks seem to be showing her personal life "respect." All talk these days has mostly focused on her professional endeavors.
"I felt like people have really focused on my music right now when I've needed them and have actually been really good about that because that's the only thing I worried about. I didn't want it to sacrifice what I've been working for. For just the attention to be on [the Liam split]."
Cyrus also made it clear that she's doing very well at the moment, not that she wants to take a swipe at her ex-fiance.
"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig. That's just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happ
