Samantha Scheibe, George Zimmerman's girlfriend, says he has been depressed and lashing out over the past few months, and she fears for her life.
These alleged claims have been made public just days after Scheibe called 911 to report that Zimmerman was pointing a shotgun in her face.
Scheibe says George threatened her, smashed a table and ultimately pushed her outside. Zimmerman was arrested after the domestic dispute.
Sources close to Zimmerman, meanwhile, have suggested that she faked her pregnancy to trap him, and lost it on him when he tried to leave her.
In any event, Samantha Scheibe says her relationship to Zimmerman started to decay soon after they started dating a couple of months back.
The two rekindled their old relationship shortly after Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, filed for divorce in September. By October, Scheibe says it was bad.
She wanted the troubled Zimmerman to seek out help for his "depression."
"She's scared is the bottom line," her mother told WKMG in an interview.
She even feared for her life, but says she stayed with George Zimmerman because she's pregnant with his child - for real - and wanted to help him.
Zimmerman claimed in his own 911 call, right after Scheibe's, that the woman had "gone crazy on me" and that he wanted the truth to come out.
Before he was taken into custody, he told a dispatcher that she was pregnant, he agreed to support the child and part ways ... and she flipped.
The claims that she faked the pregnancy, along with her claims about George's mental health, are unsubstantiated as far as independent sources go.
