Happy third anniversary, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert!
The country couple celebrated the milestone with some jabs at celebrity gossip publications, as has become their custom since ... well, since they got married.
"Happy anniversary to my wife @mirandalambert!!!" the Voice coach wrote on Twitter Wednesday. "You've always been there when I needed you baby."
"Happy anniversary Blake Shelton! I love you! Cheers to 3 years!" Lambert posted on Facebook along with a great pic from their May 14, 2011, wedding:
In the photo, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are dressed in their wedding attire, holding up glasses to cheers minutes after saying their I-dos.
The lovebirds' third anniversary comes just a few days after Lambert laughed off the most recent round of tabloid reports claiming they were done.
"I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce," she recently said.
Shelton and Lambert also addressed the ongoing, bogus breakup rumors: "Me and @mirandalambert are reading about our separation," he wrote on Twitter.
"S--t! I hope I get all the liquor in the divorce!!!"
Lambert added, "AND the imaginary baby?!"
Congrats to the couple on their anniversary and for cracking us up with their responses to the supermarket tabloids' obsession with them breaking up.
