We found out earlier today that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may get married in Italy.
Now it looks as though we might know the exact location of the long-awaited Kimye nuptials.
Belvedere Fort (seen above) is a 16th-century castle located in Florence that has hosted the exclusive events of the rich and famous for hundreds of years.
A spokesperson for the fort claimed today that Kimmy and 'Ye recently put down a massive deposit to rent the venue for their wedding reception.
So what does it cost to get married in an over 400-year old fort in one of the most beautiful regions in Europe? Oh, about $1,000 for every year the place has been standing:
Yes, Kimye reportedly shelled out over $400,000 to rent Belvedere Fort for the evening. In case you're wondering, that doesn't include any extras like catering or transportation.
Which means, of course, that Kim and Kanye shelled out about twice what the average American pays for a house, just so they could spend a night partying in a fort with their friends.
Sigh. The good life.
So now we know the date and the probable location of the wedding, but many more questions remain:
Will the notoriously emotional Kanye get cold feet? Will Jay Z serve as Kanye's best man? If the marriage actually lasts will Kanye continue to make us watch him make kissy faces at Kim in all of his music videos?!
