The legendary rap crew Wu-Tang Clan has always inspired obsessive devotion from fans, but the Lieberman family may have just taken Wu-love to the next level.
On Sunday, Wu-Tang rapper Raekwon tweeted the below photo with a caption reading, "This is live, family named their twins Raekwon & Ghostface!! #wutang4thebabies"
Little Rae and Ghostie quickly became Internet sensations, with some expressing hope that the whole thing is a hoax, and others pointing out that the new parents thankfully didn't choose "Killah" for Ghostface's middle name.
Thankfully, the Liebermans didn't have triplets. No kid should have to go through life with a name like GZA or Old Dirty Bastard.
There's been plenty of online debate as to whether or not the Liebermans are simply pulling an elaborate prank. Whatever the case, it seems that Raekwon is either in on the joke or believes that the birth certificates are legit.
This isn't the first time that The Wu has been associated with some very questionable behavior from fans and hangers-on.
Back in April, Wu Tang-affiliated rapper Andre Johnson cut his penis off before leaping from a balcony in a bizarre suicide attempt.
Clearly, the Liebermans haven't gone to quite such an extreme, but count us among the many who hope that the parents of Baby Ghostface are simply playing a joke on us all.
