Joey Casselberry, a Bloomsburg University baseball player, got kicked off the school's team this weekend for writing something very inappropriate online about Mo'ne Davis.
Upon learning that Disney would be making an original film about Davis, the husky first baseman took to Twitter and replied:
"Disney is making a movie about Mo'ne Davis? WHAT A JOKE. That slut got rocked by Nevada."
That "slut," of course, is a 14-year old who became the first girl to earn a victory and pitch a shutout during the Little League World Series last summer.
Those performances earned her a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
But she took the loss against Nevada, as referenced by Casselberry, which led to her team's elimination.
Casselberry deactivated his account Saturday night, but not quickly enough because users quickly took screen captures, causing the post to go viral and creating a lot of backlash for Casselberry.
Bloomsburg University then announced Casselberry's dismissal via Twitter, writing:
"Bloomsburg Univ is deeply saddened by what was written about #MoneDavis by one of our student-athletes. His words do not represent us."

It almost feels wrong to even include Jerry Sandusky among these other athletes, coaches and owners because his actions were so extreme. But the former Penn State coach was convicted of child abuse and rape.
We have not forgotten about O.J. Simpson. Everyone except members of a jury agree he killed his ex-wife. He's now serving time in jail for armed robbery.
Ben Roethlisberger was suspended for the first six games of the 2010 season after allegations of sexual assault. He was never found guilty in any courtroom.
