The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 1 reminded us in the long-awaited premiere that marriages, trends and money may come and go.
Cat fights, on the flip side, are forever.
After almost two years of having to watch The Real Housewives of New York City online to get our fix, the show is back with new episodes at last.
On the Season 6 premiere, we met a new housewife, Kristen Taekman, and the cattiness hit at an all-time high with the ladies ganging up on Aviva Drescher.
Season 6 opens with Carole Radziwill's author photo shoot, then Ramona Singer paying co-star Sonja Morgan a visit at her Upper East Side apartment.
"New haircut, new boys," Sonja says, and she's got both. We see her new 'do as well as the new 20-something boy she's doing later in the episode.
Soon enough, the discussion turns to Aviva and how no one likes her. Ramona labels her "vicious," adding that she has "really nothing to say to her."
Good thing Heather is throwing her birthday party and all ladies will be confined in the same club and there to gang up on her with cameras rolling!
At the party, we meet Kristen, is a mother of two, model and wife of eight years to Josh Taekman, an entrepreneur and former coworker of Heather's.
We learn that Kristen bribes Josh with sexual favors, in return for his punctuality, and he gives her diamond earrings so she goes down on him.
The new blonde in town sums it up best: "It's a joke between Josh and I that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm pretty. I get away with a lot."
Back at the party, Aviva starts ruffling feathers even while trying to quash the beef with Ramona, grabbing her away from her husband to make amends.
"I want to give you a hug, if you'll receive it," says Aviva, but Ramona wasn't feeling that. "Aviva wants a hug? Are you kidding me?" says Ramona.
"You're lucky I'm not stabbing you with a knife."
And there you go. The ladies share some fighting words, Ramona attacks Aviva's character and we got a great cat fight right away here in Season 6.
