Kim Kardashian is NOT trying to get pregnant to save her marriage, but she does admit it's been a "challenging" time trying to conceive a second child.
Fortunately, her younger sister Khloe Kardashian can relate to the stress, heartbreak and pain of infertility, and has been there for her all the way.
"Khloe is the only one in the family that Kim really can turn to for advice," a family insider says, referring to Khloe's efforts to have a baby with Lamar Odom.
Talk about a blessing in disguise that it never worked out for Khloe, but that's neither here nor there right now. The point is, she has been Kim's rock.
More than two years later, Khloe has a chance to repay her sister for being there for her, as she "just gets what she is going through and how hard it is."
The 34-year-old mother to North West, 1, and rapper husband Kanye West, 37, "have been trying for several months now" to get her pregnant again.
"Kim wanted the baby to be out in time for summer," the source says, but that's not happening, and Kim is SO upset she can't get pregnant again.
"Kanye keeps telling her that it will happen and not to worry, but she is worrying. She is beginning to think that there is something wrong with her."
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian celebrate their engagement and look happy as can be.
"Kim lives an incredibly healthy life," says source, so it's not that. "She does not drink, does not smoke, does not do drugs and works out religiously."
Like Khloe, Kim had trouble conceiving at first two, and has referred to North West as her "miracle baby." Will lightning strike twice for the celebrity?
It's unclear, but what is clear is that Kourtney Kardashian doesn't seem to carry this same gene as her sisters. Girl can get pregnant like it's no thing.
Taking the lead from Khloe, the insider says "Kim is exploring several options, such as surrogacy, IVF and other advanced insemination procedures."
Through it all, she's staying positive, telling E! that "when you want it so bad, it's not happening. When you're not planning it, it happens. It's just how God works."
"Not planning it" sort of runs in the face of "advanced insemination procedures," but we wish her the best, whatever course of action she opts to pursue.
