The first trailer for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City is here at last, and while no prosthetic limbs are shed, plenty of tears most certainly are.
Both returning cast member Bethenny Frankel and wine-swilling staple Ramona Singer are going through divorce drama, and it's taking a toll on them.
The Skinnygirl founder, who broke up with Jason Hoppy a few years ago, is still struggling with a nasty split and custody battle over their daughter Bryn.
"It's like starting over. Failed talk show, failed marriage," Frankel laments to her therapist in the teaser. "My divorce has made me a vulnerable person."
"I don't want the same life back, I just want a new life."
Meanwhile, Ramona Singer is dealing with her own husband, who stepped out with Kasey Dexter, then cheated on Ramona again after they'd reconciled.
"My marriage is down the tube," the reality star tells a friend of the epic, public demise of relations with Mario Singer, her spouse of over 22 years.
"In a million years, I never thought this would happen."
It took months for her to end her marriage to Mario, after discovering his repeated infidelity with his mistress and trying to work things out, to no avail.
"I wish I knew how to fix it," she says in the trailer, sobbing as an empathetic Bethenny, her former rival takes her into her arms. "I want to fix it so badly."
The ladies' somewhat-surprising interaction is quite a stark contrast from their infamous fights of the past, but time has healed those wounds it appears.
Also, the men in their lives have inflicted worse ones.
Beyond that, the above teaser shows the eight strong personalities clashing, boozing, and wreaking havoc in NYC, Turks and Caicos, and the Hamptons.
