Even though Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson split, the drama keeps rolling in.
It wasn't clear why the WNBA couple suddenly called it quits. But according to new documents, Brittney pulled the plug when she found out Glory Johnson was texting her ex-boyfriend.
The couple was engaged while Johnson was texting her ex-beau. Griner and Johnson got married, but not for long after the texts were discovered.
According to the annulment documents, Griner claimed she discovered Johnson was texting her ex in April.
Griner stated that had she known Johnson was being shady, she wouldn't have proposed in August 2014.
The embattled couple is hammering out the details of their breakup. Brittney doesn't think she owes Glory spousal support because they were married for a short 28 days.
Brittney and Glory were arrested for domestic violence shortly before they exchanged vows. Their arrests led to being suspended from the WNBA. So neither party was paid during their marriage.
Glory's rep, D.J. Fisher, is calling Brittney's bluff. He said, Glory is "popular and beautiful, so she's going to have male friends."
He added that only an insecure person would think the texts were anything more than platonic conversations.
