The first trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful dropped today at Comic-Con, and the Sam Raimi-directed prequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which is scheduled for a March 2013 release, looks like it will be a sight to behold.
The movie tells how the Wizard arrived in Oz and became the ruler:
Starring James Franco as a magician who is transported to the faraway land, eventually transforming into Oz: The Great and Powerful. We are also introduced to three witches, played by Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams.
