In anticipation of his interview with Katie Couric, Manti Te'o has released a trio of voicemails to the talk show host, all of which feature a female voice he believed at the time to be girlfriend Lennay Kekua.
It has since been confirmed the calls were instead made by Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.
In the first, obtained by TMZ and allegedly left right before "Lennay" started chemotherapy, the individual simply says:
"Just wanted to call you and keep you posted... I miss you, I love you... bye."
In the second, the individual is crying, seemingly because another woman is spending time with Te'o.
"I don't know who answered your phone and I don't care," the voice says. "This is my last time trying ... you made it clear what you want."
Finally, the third voicemail was reportedly left on September 12, the day Kekua "died."
"I know that you're probably doing homework or you're with the boys, or a girl maybe, just razzing," it says. "I just want to say I love you and goodnight and I'll be okay tonight, I'll
