Ronaiah Tuiasosopo: Visited by Celebrity Pychiatrist, Mum on Manti Te'o Hoax Jan 22nd 2013, 17:23 The Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax has taken another odd turn. TMZ confirms that Dr. Charles Sophy - a psychiatrist whose famous patients include Michael Jackson and Paris Hilton - visited Ronaiah Tuiasosopo last night, the man who has allegedly admitted to orchestrating this perplexing scheme. Sophy was caught by cameras leaving Tuiasosopo's California home, but he refused to divulge the reason for his visit. It's certainly safe to assume, however, that this meeting was related to the Te'o story. Ronaiah is yet to discuss the hoax in public, but he was named by Deadspin as being heavily involved in the creation of Lennay Kekua, while Te'o told ESPN last week that Tuiasosopo actually Tweeted him and admitted that he's behind the scam. Te'o, meanwhile, is scheduled to be interviewed by Katie Couric on Thursday. The appearance will mark his first on-camera comments regarding the situation.
