Google Glass: Strip Clubs, Movie Theaters, Casinos to Ban Futuristic Eyewear Apr 9th 2013, 11:25 Even though people who wear the futuristic eyewear may not be their target demographic, strip clubs are already calling for a ban on Google Glass, reports indicate. NBC News says that when it comes to the all-seeing and all-recording Google Glass, strip clubs will give it the same treatment as phones with built-in cameras: Not allowed. The manager of a strip club in Las Vegas said: "We've already been dealing with rampant cellphone video-ing and the picture taking over the years." "We are quick to make sure that that doesn't happen in the club." Tech-savvy patrons with the cool new computer system will have to check it in, just like any other electronic device, and strip clubs are not alone. Movie theaters wary of piracy will also ban Google Glass, and casinos as well. Gyms are considering banning them from their locker rooms, too. Not to worry, though. You can still look like a total douche walking around the streets of New York, Google Glassing unimpeded 'til your heart's content.
