He's been one of the few celebrities on the side of Conservatives of the past few years, openly campaigning for Mitt Romney in 2012.

But in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Kid Rock makes he feelings on the GOP rather well-known, telling the magazine:

"I'm f-cking embarrassed to be a Republican."

Is he reacting to Mitch McConnell slamming Ashley Judd? Republicans' take on gun control? Not exactly.

Rock is peeved over legislation that has raised concert ticket prices.

"It's f-cking Republican lawmakers passing those laws, you dumba--es," he says. "They already did it in New York and they're trying to do it in Michigan. I've even called some of those guys to try and stop it."

Aside from ticket prices, Kid Rock takes issue with both sides of the political aisle.

Sounding similar to Jim Carrey in that actor's Op-Ed on the gun debate, Rock wishes topics could be tackles with respect and open-mindedness.

"People in this country just hate each other for voicing an opinion, especially in my business," he says. "I'm like the f-cking lone wolf. Look, I tend to vote Republican, but I don't like the hardcore views on either side and I'm not in bed with anybody.

"I'd probably be more Libertarian, but I'm a firm believer you have to pick a side. I can't be playing the middle. If you think differently, that's fine. I'd love to grab a beer and hear why you think that way."

Rock supports gay marriage and is pro-choice. So is Hillary Clinton ran in 2016? Against some such as Rick Santorum? Would the artist switch parties with his vote?
