A six-year-old Florida girl is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital after being accidentally shot by her teen brother Saturday evening, officials said.
The teen shooting his sister happened about 7 p.m. Saturday inside the siblings' home in Oakland Park, Fla., the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Moschella said the shooting seemed to be accidental (one would certainly hope and pray that's the case), but police are still investigating the matter.

"Her eyes were wide open in a blank stare, like she was in shock."
"I'll never forget that look."
