Forget the drama on screen for a minute.
Pretty Little Liars is allegedly offering up a new mystery for fans to ponder: Might Lucy Hale actually quit the series over a beef with co-star Shay Mitchell?
This difficult-to-believe rumor is swirling due to a report in the latest issue of Star, which alleges Hale is "furious" over the attention being paid to Mitchell and her character of Emily.
"She can't handle Shay being more important than her, so she's simply stopped speaking to her," says a supposed insider.
Hale reportedly acted like a diva at this year's MuchMusic Video Awards, which are held in Canada, because Mitchell was so popular in her native country.
Overall, Hale has a "bad attitude" that is causing major tension on set. If this story is to be believed - and the actress has taken to Twitter in an attempt to ensure it is now.
"For the magazine claiming I am quitting Pretty Little liars…that is absolutely false," she wrot. "I love the show and everyone involved."
