Jamie Lynn Spears' music video for "How Could I Want More" is here, and in it, the 22-year-old makes clear she is not copying her famous big sister.
She is embracing the Spears family's Louisiana roots, however.
In the video, the former Zoey 101 star, mother of one and sibling of Britney Spears sings intimately in a recording studio with a natural-sounding twang.
"Lying in the green grass underneath the blue sky," she sings.
"Looking at a good man, you oughta be the right guy / that's got the kind of heart that any girl would die for / so how could I want more? How could I want more?"
"Treats me like a princess, let's me have it my way. I could tell he's hanging on every word that I say / all he does is love me, he swears that's what he's here for."
"So how could I want more? How could I want more?"
Ryan Seacrest premiered Jamie Lynn Spears' video, tweeting, "PREMIERE: @JamieLynnSpears embraces her country roots in "How Could I Want More" video!"
Britney also tweeted her excitement, writing "Can't believe how beautiful my sister looks in her #HowCouldIWantMore video. OMG! Watch on @OnAirWithRyan."
Last week, Jamie Lynn opened up about her fledgling music career, saying, "I don't think you just wake up one morning and decide you're going to sing."
"It's something I've always done. You don't know how to say, 'Oh, this is what I want for the rest of my life.' You can't make those decisions at 10 years old."
Now she has, though, and Jamie Lynn is all in.
