Lamar Odom may no longer be married to Khloe Kardashian, and despite reports, definitely did not get Khloe Kardashian pregnant.
But that doesn't mean the former NBA player is free from his infamous in-laws. At least not when it comes to the world of reality TV.
With Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 beginning this month, a new promo makes it clear that Khloe's marriage troubles with play a central role on new episodes.
And this has Lamar understandably concerned.
"The last thing Lamar needs in his life is to be portrayed as a schmuck," an insider tells Radar Online. "Khloe has assured him that it won't be bad, but how can it not be?"
"The end of the marriage is going to be Khloe's main storyline next season and Lamar is afraid that his drug use and cheating will be addressed on the show."
And even if Khloe doesn't want to burn her ex, the same allegedly can't be said for her momager and show executive producer Kris Jenner.
"Kris pulls all the strings in the family and she is privately disgusted by Lamar's behavior," this source adds. "He knows Kris is a person to hold grudge."
"She can make him pay for his past transgressions."
Odom, reportedly, is still trying to get his life together. The spouses of more than four years remain in constant contact, but not in a romantic way.
"She is making sure he is taking care of responsibilities with his DUI and meeting with his trainer," someone close to them claims. "It's definitely a mother-son type of relationship."
"There will always be a lot of love there between the two, but Khloe has definitely moved on. There are zero plans for the former couple to reconcile."
As for what Lamar can expect when new install ments of this E! franchise air? Like the troubled baller himself, we will all need to wait and see.
