Last night's Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 Episode 4 was billed as part one of the "Surprise Engagement," and technically it was that.
The engagement itself didn't play out yet, however. Only the runup to Kanye West's epic proposal to Kim Kardashian ... and a lot of Kris Jenner drama.
In between caring for her beautiful daughter, North West, the future Kim West is living at home with Kris, and starting to rub her mom the wrong way.
"I'm feeling a little overwhelmed," she explains to Kendall Jenner. "I can't even find a place to have a little privacy. I'm having a little anxiety attack."
Kimye's new place won't be done for several more months, so the Momager of the Year decides to set some ground rules in her own special way.
If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online , you know she's not opposed to being immature, as she did on Kim's business call, to make a point.
Annoyed at her mom's jumping up and down in annoying, passive-aggressive fashion, Kim threatens to move out with Kanye if they're not welcome.
They eventually make up and agree to communicate better, but Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are also annoyed at diva Kim's constant ... everything.
From Kourtney's wallpaper to her fashion choices, Kim always has something critical to say, earning the nickname "Fancy Nancy" from her siblings.
"If she's gonna mess with us, we're going to mess with her," Kourtney says of her plan to call Kim Fancy Nancy for gossip reasons when she's around.
Kim Kardashian eventually catches on, and it's lame, but just as we start to think Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 Episode 4 is all filler ...
"Kanye is going to send a private plane and he wants us all in San Francisco," Khloe explains to Kourtney Kardashian. "We can't say a word."
The dress code is black tie, and Khloe becomes even more intrigued regarding this because it's right around the same time as Kim's birthday.
"In my gut, I feel like something big is about to happen," Khloe says. "I think the weirdest part is that Kourtney doesn't think anything is going to happen."
Kim Kardashian walks in and is none the wiser. OMG.
"What are you guys talking about?" she asks.
