Teresa and Joe Giudice may be going to jail for a very long time.
But at least they have the support of a few reality stars!
With Teresa Giudice pleading guilty yesterday to multiple fraud counts - and expected to serve at least some time in jail in the near future - multiple members of the Real Housewives franchise have offered words of encouragement to their law-breaking colleague.
DINA MANZO (on Twitter): "It's all how you look at it...perception is everything. #StayPositive #ChooseLoveNotFear.
JACQUELINE LAURITA (on Twitter): "Praying for a dear old friend and her family today. No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it, but you can do it, and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things."
NENE LEAKES (to the Insider): "Honestly, I have to say I wish [Teresa and Joe] all the best because I don't wish harm on anybody. I don't want to see her have to go to jail. She is a mom, she has kids, I have kids, and her kids need her. So I just wish her all the best."
Soon after entering her plea in court, Teresa released a statement in which she took responsibility for her illegal actions and added:
"I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family -- especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world."
Let's hope this is a lesson very much learned by Giudice, who has provided us with many memorable moments over the years. To wit:
