Michael Sam made NFL history on Saturday.
The defensive end became the first openly gay player to be drafted by this professional football league when the St. Louis Rams took him in the seventh round.

But while the Internet was abuzz over this development, Tweeting congratulations to both Sam and the Rams, many stopped to wonder:
Who's that guy Sam is kissing?!?
His name is Vito Cammisano. He is 23 years old. He swam for the University of Missouri.
And he couldn't be more proud of his boyfriend.

Sam still has to make the 53-man roster of the Rams this summer, but that concern is for another day.
