The Ice Bucket Challenge. You've heard about it. You've seen it. You may have even participated in it.
Regardless of how you feel about the trend that's currently sweeping social media, it's generated millions of dollars for ALS research and raised more awareness of the debilitating disease than any event since Yankee Lou Gehrig's diagnosis 75 years ago.
It also gave us Kate Upton in a wet t-shirt.
While the cause for which the campaign was launched is undeniably serious, people making fools of themselves online is always hilarious. So in the spirit of laughing at the misfortune of others (for a good cause), we present you the following compilation of Ice Bucket Challenge fails:
It's hard to pick a favorite here, but the bikini-clad woman who catches a bucket to the head at the 1:08 mark is a strong contender for most painfully hysterical fail.
Then again, the drunk dude in a Super Mario costume is also pretty solid (as is the jug that gets smashed on his noggin).
Several celebrities have offered their own twists on the Challenge scenario (Chris Pratt using it as an excuse to chug vodka was pretty classic), but nothing compares to the sight of clumsy civilians knocking themselves out for charity.
So enjoy. Then get out your checkbook and donate to ALS in honor of these poor souls' humiliation.
