The anticipation for the next royal baby is intensifying. And sources reveal today could be the day!! No, seriously, girl is overdue.
Sources have revealed to The Daily Mail that Kate Middleton's actual due date was Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
Kensington Palace has not confirmed her due date, but Kate Middleton revealed her due date last month, vaguely stating sometime in "mid-to-end of April."
Many are betting that Prince George will meet his sibling on Saturday, April 25. That's just a guess though. Mum is the word, for the palace is not spilling.
All they have stated is that "We haven't ever confirmed a due date."
"The duchess herself said mid to late April, and there have been plenty of dates bandied around in the media, but we've never confirmed anything, and we never will."
Well then. Whether it is today or not, the baby will be here soon.
Middleton is reportedly staying at Kensington Palace, which is conveniently located close to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital, where she will give birth.
Looks like her husband will be there. Finishing his Air Ambulance training early, Prince William is now on paternity leave and by his beloved's side.
Palace officials reported, "The Duke of Cambridge has completed the first phase of his in-work air ambulance helicopter pilot training with Bond Air Services earlier than anticipated."
"As he now will not have any further training to complete after returning from paternity leave, he will not return to duties with Bond until that time, and will remain on unpaid leave until then."
The big question is will the baby be a girl or boy. Prince Charles, Prince William's father, is on record hoping "it will be a girl this time."
Middleton's uncle, meanwhile, stated that even if it's not, there's always next tme, since Kate and William might have more babies planned.
"I don't think they'll stop at two," he said.
"So if it isn't a girl this time around, people shouldn't be too disappointed. I'm sure there'll be a girl in the mix at some point. As long as the baby is healthy, that is the important thing."
