Scott Peterson, the former Chicago police officer whose fourth wife disappeared in 2007, was sentenced to 38 years behind bars yesterday for killing his third wife.
But not before he positively flipped out in court.

"I did not kill Kathleen!" the typically even-keeled Peterson screamed into the microphone, carefully enunciating each word.
He then talked for over a half hour in quieter tones, shedding tears and trying to maintain his composure.
"I loved Kathy. She was a good mom," Peterson said, crying. "She did not deserve to die. But she died in an accident."
The death of Kathleen Savio, 40, was initially ruled an accident after neighbors found her body in a bathtub in 2004.
But the disappearance of Stacy Peterson five years ago prompted officials to re-examine Savio's passing and deem is a "homicide."
The arrogant ex-cop police appeared to to taunt authorities prior to his 2009 arrest, suggesting a "Win a Date With Drew Contest" and then, after his arrest, a "Win a Conjugal Visit With Drew Contest."
