Kidz Bop "Thrift Shop" Cover: Clean, SFW, Awkwardly Hilarious >>Hollywood

Kidz Bop, the compilation albums that take Top 40 hits and cover them with cleanly-worded renditions sung by screaming kids and 'tweens, has discovered "Thrift Shop."

The #1 hip-hop hit by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis offers plenty of questionable language to swap out with kid-friendly lyrics, and the Kidz do not disappoint.

Right off the bat, "f--king awesome" becomes "really awesome," and "Walk up to the club like, 'What up? I got a big c--k!'" becomes "Walk up to the club like, 'What up? I got a hit song!'"

"Ice on the fringe, so damn frosty / That people like, 'Damn! That's a cold ass honkey'" is now "Ice on the fringe, it's so, so frosty / The people like, 'Hey! The guy on the marquee!'"

And on and on it goes in unintentionally hilarious fashion.

The best part? Some of the lyrical changes that aren't even necessary, such as "I'm gonna pop some tags" becoming "I'm gonna rock some tags."

"Pop some tags" is just slang for removing tags from clothing before you wear it, while "rock some tags" implies you're just wearing them with the tags.

That just doesn't make any sense, Kidz Bop. Come on.

If by some miracle you haven't seen the original "Thrift Shop" video, or just want to have your mind blown for the 509th time, here you go, people:
