Businesses are dropping Paula Deen left and right from lucrative endorsement contracts, but a big part of the chef's fan base is still standing by her.
Today, she lost Novo Nordisk deal that caused a major stir last year when she announced that she had been living with Type 2 diabetes for three years.
She was also released from her Target contract.
"Novo Nordisk and Paula Deen have mutually agreed to suspend our patient education activities while she takes time to focus her attention where it is needed," the company said.
Target also has decided to sever all ties with Deen.
"We have made a decision to phase out the Paula Deen merchandise in our stores as well as on Target.com. Once the merchandise is sold out, we will not be replenishing inventory."
Earlier, Walmart fired her in a similar statement.
Smithfield Foods, Caesars Entertainment and of course Food Network cut her loose, but not everyone is ready to wash their hands of the celebrity.
Fans are showing their support online: Deen's upcoming cookbook Paula Deen's New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up is #1 on Amazon.
That's a lot of Paula Deen recipes!
Additionally, tickets to the annual Paula Deen Cruise have reportedly been in such demand that a second voyage has been added to the 2014 schedule.
Business is booming at her
