50 Shades of Grey Trailer Pushes For Garrett Hedlund as Christian Jul 3rd 2013, 13:02, by Free Britney Another day, yet another fun Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast rumor. Only this time, it's less of a rumor and more a fan's fantasy casting. Today's answer to the age-old question of who should play Christian Grey is Garrett Hedlund ... at least as far as this unofficial 50 Shades trailer is concerned. Can you see the actor (Country Strong, On the Road, Tron) in the role? Fifty Shades of Grey Trailer (Garrett Hedlund Edition) We've seen tons of other fan-made trailers (such as this one lobbying for Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel), but this is the first we know of to feature Hedlund. Or a woman's moaning interwoven with the music of White Zombie. It's unclear if Garrett Hedlund is a serious candidate for the sought-after Fifty Shares of Grey movie role, or a candidate at all. It's all very much a mystery. Despite a release date of August 1, 2014, not a single part has been cast, although a director, screenwriter and production team are reportedly in place.
