Rachel Bilson has carved out a very nice career for herself.
We adored her on The OC. We're fans of the actress on Hart of Dixie. But if Bilson has her way, she may soon ditch the small screen... for the rapping stage?!?
"I secretly want to be a rapper," Bilson says in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, adding that her dream duet partner would be Eminem.
The gorgeous brunette starred this year in a hilarious Funny or Die video, showing off some impressive rhyming skills in a sketch titled "Call Me Doctor."
But while Bilson is able to laugh at her rap persona, she finds The Bling Ring far less funny.
This star, after all, lost thousands of dollars' worth of designer clothes and her mom's engagement ring when the burglars on whom the film is based broke into her home a couple years ago.
"I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people," she said of the movie, which features Emma Watson. "It's important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget."
Overall, though, Bilson is clearly in a positive place.
She says she's learned a lot from her days on The OC (referring to herself as a "dumb ass" during that period of her life) and maybe planning for a family with long-time boyfriend Hayden Christensen.
"Thirty is a whole different thing; you can slow down and focus on family," she says. "Starting a family one day is definitely something I look forward to."
