Andrea Sanderlin, the New York "Pot Mom" accused of running a multimillion-dollar enterprise, is free on bail as she awaits trial on federal drug charges.
Sanderlin, 45, of Scarsdale, N.Y., was arrested more than a month ago.
Nicknamed "Pot Mom," she was released from jail on a $500,000 bond, pending her father, stepmother and paternal grandmother of her kids signing the bond.
Sanderlin will stay at the NYC apartment of her children's grandparents under electronic monitoring as she awaits trial. She is due in court July 15.
She is charged with manufacturing and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, and for maintaining a warehouse where marijuana was grown and processed.
Andrea Sanderlin has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
After her arrest, she drew comparisons with Nancy Botwin, the maternal drug dealer played by Mary-Louise Parker on the Showtime series Weeds.
Prosecutors, however, alleged in a federal indictment that this was no small-time operation, and that she is no different than Colombian drug lords.
Sanderlin was arrested May 20 after authorities raided a Queens warehouse, where they found $3 million worth of pot, including close to 3,000 plants.
It's unclear how long she had been allegedly running the operation, but she registered the name Fantastic Enterprises in July 2007, officials said.
She's looking at 10 years in prison and $10 million in fines.
