JoAnna Garcia has been cast on Once Upon a Time as the Little Mermaid herself, Ariel!
We haven't seen her act in the part, of course, but the casting department nailed this:
She will appear in Once Upon a Time Season 3, as the show descends into Neverland.
Creator Adam Horowitz revealed the enchanting news Friday afternoon via Twitter:
"So thrilled to welcome @JoAnnaLGarcia to the #OnceUponATime family as our Ariel!
"Can't wait to bring you under the sea!"
Joanna Garcia, 34, also Tweeted Friday, "Excited 2 share that I'll be swimming to @OnceABC as 'Ariel'! So honored 2 play such a beloved character!"
With Once Upon a Time Season 3 kicking off Sunday, September 29 on ABC, the show's producers have been teasing fans with the identity of Ariel for months.
