Way to go, Liam Payne!
While Zayn Malik remained mum this week about rumors that he's engaged to Perrie Edwards, his One Direction bandmate did NOT sit back quietly while idiots on Twitter wrote mean things to new girlfriend Sophia Smith.
In response to the sort of threats and insults that typically befall whomever Justin Bieber has gone to dinner with, Liam Payne lashed out last night on Twitter.
"always sad to get on here to read horrible stuff about someone you care about," Payne wrote, adding a short while later: "There is that old saying tho if you ain't got sh*t nice to say then f**k you."
HA! We love it.
And true One Direction fans should as well. Don't you want these young singers to be happy?!?
Following the London premiere for One Direction: This Is Us, Payne once again took to the social network and at least ended his evening on a positive note:
